This ride combines different levels of difficulty and varied landscapes. It is starting from the ranch and back by truck. The accommodations have been selected for their charm, comfort and conviviality.

The rides are intended for experimental riders in the three speed (sitting and standing) in different types of ground. It is advisable to have a good physical condition. In 6h average horse per day.

This ride is also available version bivouac in 8d/6d riding and 9d/7d riding.

Comfortable ride is between hotels and guest houses, this ride is totally immersed in the deep and authentic Morocco, away from the tourist routes.

Riders go through different landscapes every day! Indeed, we follow the sea with its beautiful beaches and big red cliffs, then head into the mountains with argan tree to finish in the desert.

This trek requires a good physical condition and comfortable shoes because you have to walk a bit!


Day 1 – Paris- Agadir – Ranch

Welcome to the Agadir airport, transfer to the Ranch, arrival, installation and team meeting, presentation of horses and discussion around a good Moroccan tea, talk about the ride and wishes. Depending on the arrival time, the possibility of a short course in career or short outside ride for a first contact with horses.

Day 2 – Ranch – Mirleft

Day of departure: about 35km.

First, direction over the ocean through the beaches and cliffs and then back into the mountain, through many small villages. Then direction over the south towards Mirleft across many isolated Douars. Night in Douar Timgrad above Mirleft at the Kasbah of artists, picturesque, atypical heart of the mountain (this accommodation can change during summer).

Day 3 – Mirleft – Legzira

Today about 33km.

After a good breakfast with a beautiful view of the valley, then down to Mirleft, a small fishing village with white colors. Then we leave over the south over the mountain where several passes will require a bit of walking! But the ocean view is always there! Finally, we reach Legzira, a beautiful beach with red cliffs with its large arches that plunge into the ocean! If conditions permit, can swim with the horses!

Day 4 – Legzira – Sidi ouazik

Direction over the south, along the coast and then through Sidi Ifni, picnic at the port. Gradually, landscape become more and more arid to reach the bivouac at the guest house, a nice sight view.

Day 5 – Sidi Ouazik – Fort Bou Jerif

From the mountain we reach Wadi Assaka for a picnic at the mouth “foum Assaka” possibility of bathing on a wide sandy beach. We will follow the bed of the river by horse, protected environment, if we are lucky, we could observed all kinds of animals, birds, fish, turtles … Overnight in fort Bou Jerif French and then Moroccan fort delimiting the border with Spanish enclave of Sidi Ifni, in the desert, this fort served as the first bivouac Paris Dakar Rally.

Day 6 – Fort Bou Jerif – Guelmim

We continue to follow the river through the valleys worthy of the High Atlas and we met intendance and our cook at the edge of the wadi has Chouikhate, the afternoon is always following the river that begins to lose in the sand. Overnight in Guelmim to a nice hotel.

Day 7 – Guelmim – Ranch

We go to the palm of Thigmert crossing the desert, picnic in the middle of it and little bit further at Asri, the truck waiting for us to return at the Ranch

Day 8 – Flight back from Agadir to Paris

Transfer to Agadir airport and flight back home, with full memories in your mind.


Riding equipment & guides

Package including horse rental, coaching of an experienced guide, stewardship during the hike, full board and accommodation at the ranch and on the hike. Not included transfers to the ranch and beverage extras.

All rides are accompanied by at least 1 guide, a cook, a steward in 4 × 4 and a mobile kitchen with fridge and more if important group.
