Between Sea and Mountains to the Doors of the Desert

For experienced riders

This horseback riding tour combines different level of difficulty and varied landscape. It starts from the ranch with the horses returning by trick and riders by 4x4 vehicule. The accomodations have been carefully selected forr their charm, confort, and conviviality. This tour is possible from late September to late April, with a minimum of 2 riders and maximum of 8.

This trip is designed for experienced riders who are confortable at all gaits and have good horse riding skills oon various types of terrains. It is recommanded to have a good level of physical fitness. On average, expect to ride for 6 to 7 hours per day.

You will ride well-trained and physically fit horses, equipped with top quality and recently renewed gear.

Some tracks and paths may require riders to dismount too assist their horses in difficult passages with significant elevation changes (maximum of 30 minutes)

The itinerary includes multiple beach crossings, but the duration and gaits used will depend on tide level.

While offering comfoort throught a carefully selected range of hotels and guesthouses, this trek is fully immersed in tthe deep and authentic Morocco, far from the typical tourist roads.

What surprises our riders the most? The opportunity to cross different landscapes every day! Starting from the seaside with its magnificent beaches and large red cliffs, the riders then head towards the mountains with argan trees and prickly pear cacti, ending in the desert for a grand finale.

The management of the ranch and the horseback riding tours is handle by qualified professionals with many years of experience in equestrian activities.

For the trek, it is advisable to bring sunscreen, lip balm with hight SPF, a blouse with collar and long sleeves, a lightweight scarf to protect your neck and decolletage, confortable riding pants, chaps and shoes that allow for confortable walking. Water is provided, and helmets are avaliable for you (please advise us in advance and give us your size).

Travel Book

Day 1 – Arrival in Agadir - Ranch

You will welcomed at Agadir airport and transferred by taxi to the ranch.

Upon arrival, you will discover the ranch, a grreen oasis where you will spend the evening ant the night. You can enjoy gardens and terraces with views of sea and mountains.

You will have the opportunity to meet our team and horses while enjoying a delicious cup of Maroccan tea.

Day 2 – Ranch – Mirleft

The day begins by following the coastline along wild beaches and cliffs before heading up into the mountains.

You will enjoy a picnic under argan trees.

In the afternoon, you will pass trough numerous small isolated villages. Finally, you will descend toowards Mirleft.

You will spoend the night in a hotel located in the heart of the village. This will be an opportunity to explore shops and experience the charm of this typical small town.

Day 3 – Mirleft – Legzira


After a hearty breakfast, you will head south trough the mountains.

You will traverse valleys and wadis that are home to terraces fields shadded by palm trees.

Some sections may require a bit of walking but the views will be worth it!

Finally, you will return to the ocean and arrive at Legzira. You will spend the night in a hotel clinging to the rocks by the seaside.

Day 4 – Legzira – Sidi Ifni

The day begins at the famous Lexira Beach with tis red cliffs and large arches plunging into tthe ocean.

You will then head up into mountains, where you can admire numerous argan trees.

Lunch will be in a typical valley in Moroccan countryside.

The day ends in Sidi Ifni, a former Spanish city known for its stunning architecture and fish market.

You will spend the night in a comfortable hotel located on the corniche overlooking the beach.

Day 5 – Sidi Ifni – Sidi Ouarzeg

The day starts with a canter on the beautiful and expansive beach of Sidi Ifni.

You then ride up the tracks that overlook the city, offering breathtaking views. Along the way, yoou will notice thousands of cultivatedprickly pear cacti on the hillsides. This cactus is an important resource for the locals due to its manu uses.

Just as the day began, it ends ont the magnificent beach of Sidi Ouarzeg where you can enjoy the sunset.

You will spend the night in a typical beachfront guesthouse, warmly welcomed by a local family.

Day 6 – Sidi Ouarzeg – Fort Bou-Jerif

You leave the ocean behind and head inlland towards the gateway to the desert

It will be a day spent in the interiro with numerous viewpoints overlooking the valleys. You will ride through tracks that traverse vast naturall spaces.

Upon arrival at Fort Boujerif, an abandoned military fortress that ovelooks the wadi, you will start to enter in a desert landscape.

You will spend the evening and night in a hotel nestled in the midst of arid lands, a unique and unexpeted place.

Day 7 – Fort Bou-Jerif – Foum assaka

For your last day, you will make yourr way back to the ocean, traversing the desert canyon that runs alongside the wadi.

You will ride trough a unique landscape until you reach a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the delta.

You will enjoy a final lunch by the seaside before returning to the ranch for the horses and riders.

In the evening, you will have a traditionnal friday couscous meal at ranch, ending your journey on a delicious note.

Day 8 – Return flight from Agadir 

Day of departure: depending on the flight time, you have the option to take a trip to Mirleft or Tiznit to enjoy the services of our masseuse/beautician who be pleased to relieve any muscle soreness.

Transfert too Agadir airport and return flight with woonderful memories

All hikes are accomanied by at least one guide, a cook, a 4 by 4 stewardship and mobile kitchen and more if large group
